Care: For minor marks and stains on canvas, spot clean using a soft, white cloth dampened with cold water and mild soap. After spot cleaning, allow the bag to air dry in the shade.
Clean leather occasionally using a soft, colorfast cloth and a neutral cleaner made for leather. Condition once or twice a year to restore natural oils and moisture. Do not machine wash or dry clean.

Patented Halter Hardware
The now-iconic halter squares evolved during a late night spent in a barn aisle cleaning and removing brass hardware from old turnout halters. Our founder was inspired by their beautiful forms and durability, complete with the patina of teethmarks from the games of halter tag that horses play. The resulting tote designs included halter squares and bold leather straps encircling the bag—at once authentic, functional, and beautiful.
